Observing the Best Practices for Child Development 

Here at LCH Learning Centers in Littleton, Colorado, we endeavor to create an ideal atmosphere to support the all-around development of children. In order to do this, our establishment tailors our services to comply with the standards set by the state. Outdoor Play

Spending time in nature can build a child's confidence. There’s a lot less structure than most types of indoor play and they can choose how they interact with the nature around them. This gives them practice managing their own actions and encourages creativity and imagination.

 

Be sure that your child attends each day with appropriate garments for outdoor play including shoes, hats for warmth or sun and coats or jackets. Please be sure that all of your child’s outer garments are labeled with their name.

Drop in Care

Drop in care is provided based on availability. Payment is due at the time your child is picked up to avoid a $30.00 late fee. If you call to reserve a drop in spot and do not show up or call, full payment is due within one week.

Meals

We provide 2/3 of your child’s daily nutrition in daycare. The weekly menu is posted at the entrances. Breakfast is served from 8:30 – 8:50, lunch is served 11:30 - 12:00, and afternoon snack is served 3:00 - 4:00

Staff

All our staff members play and develop a relationship with each child, so there is a sense of unity with all of the staff and all of the children.

Potty Training

Our potty training contract outlines our philosophy pertaining to potty training and contains our suggestions. We will potty-train whatever way that a parent desires us to pursue, within reason. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. See your potty training contract agreement for specifics.
